Building a community

After the publication of Labyrinth of the World -and- Paradise of the Heart, in November 2021, Timothy L. Price traveled hard for the next two years. Having presented, or sold books at 25+ education conventions, Price realized that there was enough interest to create a community supportive of the cause.

Few from all these events, even at the collegiate level, multi-degreed professors in history, education, and literature knew of Comenius, which is surprising because he is commonly referred to as “the father of modern education.” Thus, the opportunity to reprise him in print, through theatre and motion picture, lay latent as gold in the claim region known for it.

Humble beginnings

Thus, Paradise of the Heart, a 501(c)(3), was founded in 2023 to oversee the development of a vision Price could see the need for. Secondly, these efforts offer the opportunity to lay the Gospel of Jesus between the lines for even non-Christians. Our mindset is that of a servant. Give to them that need, and have ready the hope that exists within us.

Currently Working On

New Book

A new book about John Amos Comenius, complied by seven doctorates, about why Comenius is still contemporary

Additional Educational Content

A companion study guide for Critical Thinking, which has been requested repeatedly, would go along with Labyrinth. This extra will help students grow in critical thinking and will be a boon to academies, homeschools, and even collegiate-level studies

Graphic Adaptation

Labyrinth has been suggested for adaptation to graphic novel style, which will embrace a younger demographic. This same production will also be used in foreign countries as an app to offer truth in restricted places and connect people there

Visual Adaptation

We are seeking motion picture productions in concern to Comenius and Labyrinth as a way to engage with people. We want to bring Comenius to live theatre as a Chautauqua-style presentation. Universities, public television, academies, Renaissance Fairs, and tourist locations could use this production

Community Bonding Activities

Retracing the steps of Comenius for documentary purposes. Museums, public television, and other entities can use this material to educate, attract audiences, and open people’s eyes

Our Mission

Comenius dedicated his life to pursuing universal knowledge. This harmonizes faith into practical service to others. He left a lasting mark on the world, and Christian thought. Paradise of the Heart will revive Comenius’s ideas. They will nurture growth, community development, and the pursuit of wisdom that offers help in a degenerating world.

Paradise of the Heart will work with other 501(c)(3)s to meet their goals or outreach. It will also work with cultural and heritage groups to help them. Our outreach will be available to any or all groups who need what we can offer.

We hope to eventually offer scholarships and guidance to students and parents.

The Diluted Church, is certainly coming from a more evangelical perspective, but it’s outstanding! There are several people who I’d like to send it to. Right now, I’m writing a bit about it for my blog. What I like about it is that it is so balanced and refreshing, and he’s speaking from a strong biblical imperative. Part of his premise is that we cannot assume that conservatives are speaking with the strongest biblical foundations beneath them. This is especially true in his discussion of nationalism and the impossibility of serving both God and manna, or two masters, if you will.

Tim Price’s theology is some of the most clear-headed I’ve read in a while, from the right or left. The Diluted Church is giving me great food for thought, and from someone who falls outside my usual circles of influence. Thanks!
